Plot
A cosmic force called the Phoenix is heading towards earth, and the X-Men with their leader, Scott Summers/Cyclops think it will bring good fortune. The Avengers on the other hand, do not agree, and will not risk to take the chances. This causes conflict between the two, and each side faces problems at each turn, as the impending doom grows.
