The Funeral of Tony Stark was an event that took place after the Battle of Earth that successfully resulted in the entirety of Thanos' forces being wiped from existence, including the Mad Titan himself. However, the victory of the battle would sadly cost the life of Tony Stark, who would later have his funeral hosted at the Stark Residence.
Battle of Earth[]
During the struggle between Stark and Thanos over the Nano-Gauntlet, the two would fight over possession over the six Infinity Stones. When Thanos seemingly comes out victorious and snaps his fingers, nothing happens. Unexpectedly, Stark managed to rip all six stones out of the Gauntlet, and successfully snap away the Mad Titan, and all of his forces, which included the Black Order, and the entire Chitauri and Outrider population. However, despite the victory, the sheer power of the Infinity Stones, combined with the Gamma Radiation proving too much for his mortal body, charred the right side of his face and body. He would pass on, with James Rhodes, Peter Parker, Captain America, Thor, and his wife, Pepper Potts to witness his death, but not before muttering his wife's name as his final words.
Funeral[]
The funeral took place at the Stark Residence, where several individuals were in attendance. Prior to both the battle that cost him his life and the Time Heist, Stark recorded a message in the Mark 85's helmet to be played should he ever pass on, remarking that part of the journey is the end, and that he loved his daughter "...three-thousand." After the message ended, Pepper and Morgan set adrift a wreath on the lake near their home with Stark's original Arc Reactor placed on top with the message engraved PROOF THAT TONY STARK HAS A HEART. All the Avengers who where in the battle of earth were there.
