The Saleen S7 is a famous sports car model from the Saleen / Saleen Automotive car brand. It was one of Tony Stark's cars, and it was seen in his garage in the film, Iron Man.

History

Before Iron Man

Tony bought the Saleen S7 sometime before the events of Iron Man, and parked it in his garage in his Malibu house along with his other cars. He may presumed to have used it sometimes, or just left it there for display with his collection of cars.

Iron Man (film)

Tony's Saleen S7 can be seen in his garage as he fixes the engine of his 1932 Ford Flathead Roaster. The car can later be seen when Tony asks Pepper to replace the old Arc Reactor in his chest with a new one.

When Tony works to refine his Iron Man Armor, he tests the prototype Leg Repulsors and Hand Repulsors for Flight Stabilization. Later in the ongoing test, he loses control of his initial flight and hovers above all his cars, including the Saleen S7.

After regaining control, Tony lands back to the testing platform with a bit of style. He reassures himself that can he now fly properly, while the Saleen S7 can be seen in the background along with the Tesla Roadster, before Tony, later on fully equips himself with the Mark II.

After finishing the flight tests with the Mark II, he hovers a foot from the surface of the roof of his house, and asks J.A.R.V.I.S. to kill the suit's power. Which results in Tony crashing down through his house all the way to the basement and lands on his 1967 Shelby Cobra, destroying it.

The Saleen S7 can be seen beside after, as it alarms along with all the cars.

Before Iron Man 2

Months after Tony reveals himself as Iron Man, he soon discovers that he is slowly dying as the Palladium core in his Arc Reactor is poisoning him. When he fails to search for a replaceable element for Palladium, he starts giving away his things. He sold his Saleen S7 along with some of his other sports cars, most likely sometime after realizing that there was no way to fix his Arc Reactor problem.
